Cellulite treatment
Cellulite treatment with Cavitation & Radiofrequency
Cellulite, or orange skin, is a phenomenon that is observed in about 90% of women after puberty. Typically, the treatment is spread over the lower limbs, abdominal area, thighs and buttocks. This phenomenon occurs when the fibrous tissue in the skin allows fat cells to move towards the surface of the skin. One of the latest and very efficient developments for the treatment of cellulite is the Cavitation treatment, which is already applied at the DaVINCI Clinic combined with Radiofrequency.
Cavitation is a device that transmits high-energy waves to areas of increased adiposity, making fat tissue melting and treatment possible. This is a safe technique, without side effects and not at all invasive. It is applied to the surface of the skin, no pain is felt but only a slight sensation of warmth and stinging. After the treatment, a slight reddening of the skin remains, which disappears after a few hours.
For the treatment of cellulite, the medical staff of the DaVINCI Clinic combines Cavitation with Radiofrequency treatments to melt fat tissue and then tone the skin in that area. Radiofrequency works thanks to the distribution of energy (in the form of heat) in the dermis (deep layer of the skin) and in the sub-dermal layer, without damaging the upper layer of the skin (epidermis). Heating in this area causes the contraction of existing collagen fibers and the production of new collagen and elastin, increases blood circulation, and enables lipolysis and apoptosis (destruction) of fat cells, helping us to melt away cellulite at the same time.
Increased blood circulation caused by Radio Frequency heat has a therapeutic effect on tissues, as it increases the absorption of nutrients as well as stimulates the elimination of chronic low-grade inflammation, which characterizes cellulite. Cavitation and Radiofrequency therapy is a treatment that lasts no more than thirty minutes for each area where it is applied and a minimum of ten sessions spaced 3-4 days apart are suggested so that the patient can see satisfactory results after the treatment.
